Position Details

We are seeking a reliable Regional Driver to join our team in Minooka, IL. This role involves longer-distance driving, often requiring multiple days on the road within a specific region. Drivers enjoy regular home time and opportunities for safety bonuses. The freight is no-touch, with some store deliveries involving drop and hook operations.

Pay: $0.55/mile

Responsibilities:

1. Execute timely deliveries across the region
2. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
3. Maintain accurate electronic logs
4. Operate company-owned trucks for regional freight
5. Perform vehicle maintenance and submit reports
6. Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries
7. Maintain safety certifications and preserve company property
8. Report accidents and delays promptly
9. Contribute to team operations as needed

Requirements:

1. Valid Class A CDL
2. Clean driving record
3. Pass DOT drug screening and medical requirements
4. Minimum 1 year of Class A experience or military equivalent
5. At least 23 years old
6. Knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
7. Strong interpersonal skills
8. Ability to work independently and maintain equipment
9. Willing to be away from home multiple days
10. Effective time management and route planning
