Omya seeks a Regional Category Manager - Logistics in Cincinnati, responsible for managing Source-2-Contract activities. The role includes localizing category strategies, monitoring supplier performance, and supporting team development within a logistics context.

The Regional Category Manager - Logistics manages the efforts executing Source-2-Contract activities, ensuring delivery according to SLAs, KPIs, work instructions and controls. The Regional Category Manager - Logistics acts as first expertise and escalation point for a dedicated regional category, coordinates workload, supports issue resolution and fosters continuous improvement.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations or Economics or related fields. Relevant vocational education with significant experience may be considered.
4–6 years of experience in logistics sourcing management, with a strong understanding of over the road, warehousing and rail logistics sourcing and 4–6 years of experience in a process or function‑related operational role.
Skills in spend category strategy definition, execution and communication from regional to cluster level. Ability to handle confidential commercial and supplier data securely.
Strong attention to detail for procurement documents, legal wording, and financial terms. S2C data administration including supplier data, RFP documentation, negotiation records, and contract files.
Case and ticket management for sourcing queries, supplier issues, and contract clarification needs. Comfortable coordinating with Logistics, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and business requesters.
Solid understanding of sourcing methodologies, systems and procurement workflows. Knowledge of internal procurement controls and compliance requirements.
High accuracy in reviewing bid comparisons, supplier documentation, and contract drafts.
