Job summary

Anderson Trucking Service is seeking a Regional Carrier Representative to connect qualified carriers with available freight and keep shipments moving nationwide. You will partner with ATS Logistics teams and act as the link between carriers and shippers, coordinating daily dispatch and maintaining accurate information.

You will build carrier relationships in your region, manage daily dispatch, and ensure loads are handled with precision.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight brokerage or transportation logistics is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable handling calls and meetings with customers/carriers.

Responsibilities

• Contact existing, inactive or potential carriers.
• Negotiate rates and quote pricing.
• Sell our product and service offerings.
• Dispatch carriers to loads and provide all required details.
• Update billing and tracking information in the system.
• Manage a book of business and stay within budgetary limits.
• Serve as liaison between carriers and shippers.

As aRegional Carrier Representative,you'llbe a trustedpartnerhelpingcarriersdiscovertransportationsolutions that truly make a difference.Core responsibilities:

• Contact existing,inactiveor potential carriers
• Negotiate rates with carriers to handle customer shipments;maintainpricing and rate quoting competitive to the current market conditions
• Learn to sell our well recognized product
• Dispatch qualified carrier to available freight, providing all pertinent information necessary for a high levelof service, responding to questions,investigatingand resolving problems as needed, and updating carrier trips in the data system
• Update computer system to reflectaccurateinformation
• Manage a book of business of more than a million dollars annually
• Act as a liaison between carriers and shippers

Compensation & Benefits

• Totalcash compensation rangeofthis position is $46,000.00 to $57,000.00+, including a base salary starting at $40,000+anda first-year training incentive of $6,000.00. Base salary offered isdeterminedby relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doingsubstantially similarwork. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
