Job Description:
Regional Business Manager - Western US & Canada
As Regional Business Manager (Western US & Canada), you will act as a strategic consultant to our established dealer network across the Western US and Canada. Instead of direct end-user selling, you will coach independent dealerships to optimize sales operations, refine processes, and capture municipal market share. You'll pair field coaching with sharp analytical rigor - using Excel and Power BI to evaluate dealer performance, forecast demand, and present business reviews directly to Senior Management.
Growth and Strategy
- Optimize Dealer Processes: Audit, refine, and elevate dealer prospecting, discovery, and pipeline management.
- Drive Channel Growth: Empower dealer teams to win competitive municipal bids and expand regional coverage.
- Turn Data Into Strategy: Use CRM metrics and financial models to identify gaps and present forecasts to executives.
- Bridge Field & Boardroom: Balance hands-on equipment demos with executive-level dealer business reviews.
Core Value Proposition
- Guaranteed Year 1 Ramp: Onboard with temporary guaranteed commissions before transitioning into an uncapped $100k-$250k+ total earnings structure.
- Consultative Focus: Drive high-level dealer enablement and business transformation rather than carrying a direct cold-calling bag.
- Executive Impact: Report market analytics directly to Senior Management to shape high-level strategy.
- Predictable Schedule: Remote MST/PST flexibility with a Monday-Friday travel schedule (40 weeks/year) where weekend work is rare.
- What You'll Do: Train dealer sales teams, deliver quarterly executive business reviews, build data-backed annual territory plans, and support major municipal bid presentations.
- What You Need: Proven experience in dealer development or sales process consulting (heavy equipment or municipal background preferred); advanced MS Excel/Power BI skills; strong influence skills without direct authority; MST/PST location with readiness for 40 weeks of weekday travel; valid driver's license and passport.
