Description
Reporting to the Commercial Director – Fluid Management & Flexibles, this sales leadership position will have full commercial responsibility and accountability for our key accounts within the Fluid Management Division on the East Coast. The objectives will focus on year-over-year profitable net revenue growth for the assigned accounts, emphasizing strategic needs, uncovering and closing new opportunities, and developing new accounts. The primary focus will be on operational excellence and customer satisfaction, nurturing potential growth opportunities for strategic development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver profitable revenue growth for assigned accounts annually
- Develop new accounts by identifying and presenting capabilities, fostering long-term relationships with key stakeholders including supply chain, engineering, and quality teams
- Utilize Salesforce.com effectively to manage customer relationships and align efforts with strategic plans
- Support and implement SPG’s go-to-market strategy, maintaining strong relationships with manufacturing sites
- Act as a liaison for significant programs, corrective actions, and supply chain opportunities
- Negotiate and maintain active contracts and ensure compliance
- Provide accurate budgeting and forecasting for accounts
- Identify cross-selling opportunities within other SPG divisions
- Identify new technologies or acquisitions to enhance SPG offerings and communicate needs to management
- Participate in trade shows to generate new business
- Present market and customer intelligence to management professionally
- Comply with safety standards
- Uphold company vision and values
- Perform other duties as assigned
Work closely with
- Plant leadership for new product development
- Sales, marketing, program management, customer service, and engineering teams
- Support strategic planning and industry organization participation
Qualifications
- BS Degree in Engineering or Science
- 3-5 years in business development or account management in the medical industry, focusing on injection molding solutions
- Creative problem-solving and influencing skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated and action-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, Melon, and other relevant programs
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to create solutions, think strategically, and adapt
- Leadership skills to drive change and position SPG as a supply chain leader
- Willing to travel up to 50%
- Reside on the East Coast, preferably north or central East Coast
