Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs, a ChanceLight division, seeks a Regional Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Special Education team. You will lead with expertise to support K-12 students across multiple campuses, providing tailored behavioral and educational interventions and mentoring staff.

This role emphasizes data-driven instruction, FBAs and BIPs, crisis management when needed, and ensuring compliance with regulations while promoting best practices and student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy, special education or a closely related field.
• Licensed currently or in process of obtaining a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) credential.
• Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining an education specialist or special education credential preferred.
• Hold currently or have the ability to obtain a valid CA state driver’s license.
• Experience in providing behavioral support, preferably in specialized settings.
• Proficiency in ABA including PBIS, FBA and BIP.

Responsibilities

• Delivering comprehensive training and guidance to teachers in designing FBAs and BIPs.
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of academic and behavioral support services.
• Supporting staff by modeling instructional best practices to promote student growth.
• Implementing evidence-based interventions to improve academic, social, emotional, and independent functioning.
• Providing crisis management intervention and reducing need for 1:1 staffing.
• Collaborating with on-site teams to collect data and monitor progress toward goals.
• Leading quality checks across campuses and recommending improvements.
• Training on behavioral assessment, intervention, PBIS and data collection.
