Job summary

Krause Auto Group is seeking a Regional Automotive Controller to lead accounting for two dealership locations. You will partner with executive leadership to drive profitability, ensure compliance, and guide strategic financial growth across the network.

The role emphasizes internal controls, floorplan management, and team development within a fast-paced, multi-brand environment. Strong leadership, analytics, and dealer-OPS understanding are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years of automotive dealership accounting experience.
• Multi-store dealership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dealership financial statements and OEM reporting.
• Experience with dealer management systems such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds or Dealertrack.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations for two dealership locations (GL, AP, AR, Payroll, Month-End Close).
• Prepare monthly GAAP-based financial statements and OEM reporting.
• Coordinate audits and tax engagements; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor cash flow, floorplan financing, and inventory accounting.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial insights for leadership.
• Mentor and develop accounting teams across locations.
