Krause Auto Group is seeking a Regional Automotive Dealership Controller to oversee accounting operations for two dealership locations. The role partners with senior leadership to maximize profitability, ensure compliance, and drive strategic financial initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automotive dealership accounting, multi-store experience, and strong skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and OEM reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 5+ years automotive dealership accounting experience.
• Multi-store dealership accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dealership financial statements and OEM reporting.
• Experience with dealer management systems such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations for two dealership locations, including GL, AP, AR, Payroll, and Month-End Close.
• Prepare monthly financial statements per GAAP and OEM requirements.
• Coordinate audits and tax engagements; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage cash flow, floorplan financing, and asset protection.
