Job Summary Oversees activities across a automation engineering function or integrating multiple departments, responsible for designing, developing, modifying and integrating computer-controlled electronic and mechanical systems for the automation of industrial tasks and enhancement of manufacturing, processing or production equipment. Develops and applies advanced electronic control systems. Oversees the design and manufacturing of consumer products and the development of new electro-mechanical concepts for new product lines. Responsible for assembling components, preparing test plans and supporting testing and validation of products. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
