Job summary

Mars Incorporated seeks a Regional Engineering Manager- Controls to lead and develop the Controls Team across manufacturing and packaging processes. You will deliver control system projects that provide competitive advantage, develop concepts, specs, and interfaces, and guide installation and modification of electrical systems.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, coordinating with global and NA engineering standards, delivering on scope, time and budget, and leading a high-performance team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering).
• 8-12 years' experience in a comparable technical position – food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry preferable.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles - knowledge of engineering disciplines: Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction or Computer Services.
• In-depth understanding of functional engineering area of expertise.
• Team skills - high-performance team experience.
• Good communication, listening and influencing skills.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Innovative thinking.
• Able to work collaboratively with other groups.
• 20-50% travel requirement depending on project demands.
• Advanced degree in Engineering, MBA
• PMP certification
