Job summary

HDR is seeking a legal professional to provide comprehensive in-house services across engineering, architecture, and construction management contracts. The role focuses on pursuing, negotiating, and delivering professional and consulting agreements, while monitoring risk and industry trends.

The position requires a Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited school, an active law license, and at least 3 years of progressive legal experience.

Strong teamwork skills and ability to lead through trusted advising.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive legal services during pursuit, negotiation, and delivery of professional and consulting contracts across engineering, architecture, program and construction management, and environmental consulting.
Review, prepare, and negotiate teaming agreements, term sheets, memoranda of understanding, and professional/design services contracts.
Collaborate with and report to Legal department colleagues and supervisors regarding contractual items and project issues.
Explain legal terms and risks to senior leadership, and stay informed of industry standards and HDR policies.
