Job summary

Hadassah in Florida seeks an Associate Managing Director to lead region-level operations and work with the Managing Director to advance priorities for volunteers and members. The AMD will supervise staff, coordinate programs, and oversee budgets while expanding fundraising and member engagement across the Florida Region.

The role requires strong relationship building, strategic oversight, and the ability to collaborate with volunteers and staff to achieve local goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of progressive nonprofit leadership and staff supervision.
• Experience with volunteers and non-staff stakeholders.
• Track record in fundraising and member engagement, large events.
• Budget development and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Set Geographic Area priorities with the Managing Director and translate initiatives to local goals.
• Build relationships with Region Presidents and volunteer leaders.
• Lead succession planning, leadership development, and member outreach, including engagement with Evolve.
• Coordinate Geographic Area work across staff and ensure timely volunteer support.
• Supervise staff and provide feedback and accountability.
• Develop programs and events to increase fundraising and membership.
• Oversee budgets, offices, facilities, and admin needs with policy controls.
• Identify concerns and escalate when appropriate.
• Assume MD absence duties and lead special projects.
