Job summary

McGough Group in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Regional Assistant Project Manager to support project teams across our high-profile construction programs. You will assist with preconstruction, scheduling, documentation, and coordination with owners, design partners, and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior staff, maintaining schedules, reviewing RFIs, processing submittals, and supporting Lean initiatives. A four-year degree and 2+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management or related degree.
• 2+ years of related experience, including self-perform capabilities.
• Experience building partnerships with owners, owners' reps, design firms and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist pursuit team in understanding prospective projects and requirements.
• Assist with CPM scheduling and project controls.
• Draft and process RFI's and shop drawings reviews.
• Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors and vendors.
• Attend project meetings and support document control and reporting.
• Participate in Lean initiatives and value-added activities.
