Job summary

Dominium seeks a Regional Manager-Special Assets to stabilize and improve performance across LIHTC affordable housing properties. You will lead asset turnarounds, drive occupancy and NOI, and supervise on-site Community Managers, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Role requires strong financial acumen, experience with LIHTC, and leadership capabilities within a for-profit real estate environment. Collaboration with multiple internal teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive multifamily property management experience, including at least 2 years supervising on-site teams.
• Experience in for-profit real estate with accountability for financial performance and affordable housing compliance.
• Strong experience with LIHTC and related regulatory requirements preferred.
• Hands-on experience with asset stabilization projects and property takeovers is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Yardi and Excel for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Execute property-level stabilization and performance improvement plans for assigned special assets.
• Supervise Community Managers; set performance expectations and conduct site visits.
• Address physical, financial, compliance, and market challenges with corrective actions.
• Oversee leasing, rent collections, maintenance, and resident relations to improve NOI and occupancy.
• Ensure LIHTC, HUD, and lender requirements are met; address audit issues promptly.
• Collaborate with senior teams on budgeting, capital improvements, and financial forecasting.
• Prepare property performance reports and dashboards for leadership.
