Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking an Area AP Manager to oversee asset protection across multiple stores, leading a team of Coordinators and Specialists.

You will drive shortage reduction and safety programs while partnering with store leadership to mitigate risk across our house of brands—Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Athleta. You will analyze data to identify trends, investigate theft and policy violations, and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in investigations, surveillance, and shortage reduction.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP Coordinators and Specialists across stores, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Implement shortage reduction and safety programs tailored to area needs.
• Investigate theft, fraud, and policy violations; ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Analyze incident data to identify risks and propose proactive solutions.
• Coordinate with store and regional leadership to align AP strategies with goals.
• Ensure security systems are functioning and compliant.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and legal partners to support cases.
• Promote a culture of safety, inclusion, and operational excellence.
