The Regional Application Engineer is responsible for independently managing an assigned territory and customer base, serving as the primary technical contact throughout the machine delivery lifecycle. This role owns customer relationships, production process development, machine readiness, and customer training within their territory. This position requires advanced technical expertise and the consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in developing manufacturing processes, programming CNC machines, selecting tooling, and training customers.
High School diploma and ten plus year’s related experience and/or training in engineering, technology, or other related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Five plus year’s of shop floor management experience is also required. Extensive experience with CNC turning machines, including setup, programming, and process optimization, is required. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment where engineering and project management skills were essential to the overall operations of the organization is required.
