Job summary

Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. seeks a Regional Agronomist to support the Crop Nutrition and Tiger-Sul sales teams across the Pacific Northwest.

You will apply your agronomy knowledge to expand market share, develop markets, and advise customers on best management practices for Tessenderlo Kerley products. Responsibilities include designing field trials, building university relationships, and delivering technically sound marketing messages, while traveling frequently to field locations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in crop science, soil science, or agronomy; bachelor's with 1–3 years of related experience acceptable.
• CCA license or willingness to obtain within one year.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of specialty fertilizer products and nutrient stewardship concepts.
• Experience with agronomic research, statistical analysis, and experimental design.

Responsibilities

• Identify crop fertility needs and benefits using TKICrop Nutrition and Tiger-Sul products for regional cropping systems.
• Design and implement field testing and demonstration trials to fill knowledge gaps for sales and marketing.
• Develop relationships with universities and private researchers; visit sites to evaluate research quality.
• Collaborate with sales, agronomy, and marketing to craft technically sound messages.
• Provide technical support to customers and end-users for product positioning and usage.
• Monitor competitive activity and explore licensing, acquisitions, and new product opportunities.
