Job summary

Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. is seeking a Regional Agronomist to support the Crop Nutrition and Tiger-Sul sales teams in expanding market share in the Pacific Northwest. You will apply your agronomy expertise to improve customer fertility programs and field-based trials.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in crop science or a related field, with 1–3 years of relevant experience and a CCA license or plan to obtain within a year. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s in crop science or a related field preferred.
• CCA license or willingness to obtain within one year.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of 4R Nutrient Stewardship and precision agriculture.
• Experience in agronomic research and experimental design.

Responsibilities

• Identify plant fertilization needs using TKICrop Nutrition and Tiger-Sul products.
• Design field tests and demonstration trials to support sales and marketing.
• Establish relationships with university and private researchers.
• Visit locations to evaluate the quality of research.
• Collaborate with sales, agronomists, and marketing to develop sound messages.
• Provide technical support to customers for product use and positioning.
• Research competitors’ products and evaluate licensing or new offerings.
• Engage with external researchers to validate performance and translate findings.
• Monitor industry activity and market dynamics; report trends to teams.
• Strengthen distributor and customer relationships through training and field support.
