Job summary

The Assistant Director will focus on high school student recruitment and community college transfer recruitment. This position will recruit and cultivate prospects, applicants, and admitted students through direct participation in activities designed to educate and inspire prospective students, parents, and counselors.

The position will also evaluate credentials and make independent decisions regarding admission to UNCG .

Qualifications

• Relevant degree required; post-bac preferred, substitution allowed for related experience.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit high school and community college prospects and admitted students.
• Evaluate credentials and make independent admission decisions.
• Build relationships with high schools and community colleges to enhance UNC Greensboro’s brand and reputation.
• Help influence admitted students’ decisions to matriculate.
