Job summary

The Regional Accounting Manager role with Korn Ferry's client leads balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close across construction projects. You will drive forecasting, budgeting, and ensure compliance with corporate reporting requirements.

The position requires a BS in Accounting or Finance and an active CPA, with 10+ years in accounting (public accounting considered). Experience in construction is essential to navigate project-based accounting and controls.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance and an active CPA.
• Construction industry experience is required.
• Public accounting experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Effectively completing the month-end financial close process.
• Perform operational analysis as requested, as well as assignment of special projects.
• Timely and accurate completion of month end journal entries, balance sheet and P&L.
• Compose a monthly forecast and participate in annual budget.
• The Regional Manager is responsible for knowing and following policies and procedures of the company;
• for sharing information that would benefit other members of the team; and for finding ways to improve the productivity and profitability of our division.
• Under the direction of the Chief Accounting Officer is responsible for ensuring payroll and functions related to hourly and salaried personnel are adhered to.
