Job description

Opportunity Overview:

Reporting to the Facility Optimization Solutions, LLC (FOS) business unit, a subsidiary of CannonDesign, the Simplebid Regional Account Executive will be key to the program's success, responsible for the FOS business plan within the Great Lakes region (MI, IN, KY, OH). The role involves identifying qualified opportunities, advancing deals, and meeting sales targets. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with persistence in navigating Job Order Contracting markets, reporting to the Director of Sales, and converting opportunities into satisfied customers.

Position Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with Business Development to generate a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  2. Prospect new sales via cold calling, email campaigns, and industry events.
  3. Qualify inbound leads through various communication channels.
  4. Engage with clients to understand project scope, budgets, and timelines, advancing opportunities through the sales cycle.
  5. Maintain all sales activities in CRM systems like Salesforce and HubSpot.
  6. Work with the Operations team to prepare pricing proposals and develop sales strategies.
  7. Communicate new RFX opportunities to the team and contribute to response development.
  8. Conduct market research to understand competition and identify differentiators.
  9. Be flexible and adaptable within a startup environment.
  10. Provide accurate pipeline analysis and forecasts to improve win ratios.
  11. Achieve sales quotas as outlined by the organization.
  12. Collaborate with Construction Account Managers to ensure excellent customer service and smooth contract renewals.
  13. Spend time in the field to understand business operations and foster customer expansion.
  14. Assist in developing internal sales processes and infrastructure.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience, preferably in Construction.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory (up to 50%).
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Experience with public procurement, contracts, and bidding processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
