Job summary

Brightside Academy is seeking an experienced Regional Director of Operations to lead and support multiple early learning centers across an assigned region. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coach leaders, drive enrollment, and ensure licensing and safety compliance across sites.

The role emphasizes strategic oversight, people-management, and regional reporting, with frequent travel within Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of early childhood education experience preferred.
• Multi-site leadership experience preferred.
• Strong operational and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel frequently within the region.

• Oversee operations across multiple academy locations.
• Step in to lead assigned academy locations when needed.
• Coach and support academy leaders.
• Drive enrollment, quality, and financial performance.
• Maintain licensing, safety, and company compliance.
• Lead staffing, performance, and succession planning.
• Conduct academy walkthroughs and improvement planning.
• Strengthen curriculum quality and child outcomes.
• Support investigations and disciplinary actions.
• Build community and regulatory partnerships.
• Lead regional initiatives and operational reporting.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree, preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Three to five years of early childhood education experience preferred
• Multi-site leadership experience preferred
• Strong operational and people-management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Confident, professional, and adaptable leadership style
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned region

Work Environment

• Monday through Friday during typical academy hours
