• BS in Forestry or related degree with 10 years of managerial experience or equivalent.
• Ability to budget, plan and manage large projects and initiatives.

• Excellent communication, time management and persuasion skills.
• Proficiency with GIS and Microsoft Office.

DescriptionThis is a leadership position in the North Louisiana/Arkansas (NLAR) Region within Weyerhaeuser’s Southern Timberlands Business. The position is based in Ruston, LA, but requires coverage of the entire region spanning parts of North Louisiana and Southern Arkansas and will include business travel of approximately 50%. The Region Manager is responsible for leading the NLAR region, comprised of approximately 2 million acres, and, as part of the leadership team, for participating in the formation and execution of the strategic vision for the region that is aligned with the Company direction. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 25% of base pay.
