Job summary

Boise Cascade Company in Louisiana seeks an engineering leader to oversee planning, design, installation and optimization of equipment and processes across three locations. You will partner with production and staff to analyze issues and drive corrective actions from an engineering perspective.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil, Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, 8–10 years in manufacturing, strong data analysis, project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil, Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of industry experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, install and optimize new and existing equipment and processes.
• Lead cross-functional teams to investigate and correct production issues.
• Provide engineering oversight for three locations in the region.

Description

Responsible for providing engineering leadership and support, including the planning, design, installation and optimization of new and existing equipment and processes. Collaborates with production and staff personnel in investigating, analyzing and planning action for correction of production issues that involve engineering considerations. Position has engineering oversight of 3 locations across the region. Other duties as assigned.

B.S. in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical). Must have 8-10 years industry-related experience in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of process improvement concepts, data analysis, diagnostic tools and techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to participate on and lead cross-functional teams. Strong project management experience, particularly of complex projects.

P.E highly preferred
