AutoNation is seeking a Regional Collision Director to oversee collision operations across the region, driving profitability and customer satisfaction. The role focuses on leadership, budgeting, and compliance with OEM standards and DRP programs.

Ideal candidates will have multiple years of collision repair management experience, strong financial acumen, and the ability to develop staff and partner with insurers to grow the business.

Qualifications

  • Minimum >4 years of collision repair management experience (Dealership experience preferred).
  • Past managerial accounting and P/L responsibility.
  • Ability to lead multi-store operations and develop staff.
  • Strong communications and collaboration with HR, Safety and Training teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of all collision centers in the region, ensuring quality, safety, productivity, and profitability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop collision center managers and staff.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement action plans to achieve revenue, gross profit, and EBITDA targets.
  • Ensure adherence to OEM certifications, DRP agreements, and local/state regulations.
  • Analyze KPIs and customer feedback to identify trends and improvements.
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership on regional strategies, marketing initiatives, and growth.

The Regional Collision Director (RCD) acts under the authority of the Region Vice President of After-Sales (RVPAS) and is responsible to the RVPAS for the effective operations of all collision activities within the Region. The RCD is the focal point for collision operations related activity.The Regional Collision Director (RCD) acts under the authority of the Market President and is responsible for the effective operations of all collision activities within the market. The RCD is the focal point for collision operations related activity. Working through the leadership infrastructure he/she is accountable for the financial performance, coordinated marketing, customer relations, insurer relations, staffing, and overall coordination of the collision operations activities within the region.
