Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Collision Body Technician to perform vehicle repairs per dealer and factory standards. You will follow repair orders, communicate with estimators, assess vehicle conditions, and complete body repairs including welding and frame work.

Safety and quality control are emphasized on every job. The ideal candidate has ICAR or OEM certification preference and at least two years of automotive experience, with a valid in-state license.

• ICAR certification or interest in becoming certified.
• OEM certification or interest in becoming certified.
• At least two years’ automotive experience.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate with Estimators and Parts Associates to obtain necessary parts.
• Assess vehicle condition to determine if additional safety or repair work is needed.
• Perform all body repairs according to the estimate.
• Perform welding, soldering, body alignment, and frame/unibody repairs.
• Operate all Collision Center equipment safely and productively.
• Inspect all work as a QC measure once jobs are completed.
• Mix chemicals according to manufacturer directions/specifications.
