Mayo Clinic's Sammarco Laboratory seeks a Research Technologist to support regenerative musculoskeletal research. The role encompasses mammalian cell culture, mouse handling, histology, and molecular assays, with emphasis on rigorous data collection and reproducible results.

You will contribute to experimental planning, learn new techniques, and potentially authorship on publications as you grow scientifically within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Mammalian cell culture experience with attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques and data handling.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, collaborative lab.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammalian cell culture, mouse handling, tissue processing and histology.
• Execute immunohistochemical assays and acquire high-quality images.
• Conduct standard molecular assays (qPCR, RNA/DNA prep) and data analysis.
• Maintain rigorous records, contribute to publication figures and meetings.
• Collaborate with PI and senior staff on experimental planning.
