Qualifications

• The candidate should be capable of autonomous, independent work and scientific rigor.
• Experience with molecular biology, cell biology, imaging, and animal-based techniques is desirable.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for publishing and presenting data.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, execute, troubleshoot, and interpret complex molecular, cellular, imaging, and animal-based studies addressing musculoskeletal regeneration.
• Develop hypotheses, optimize experimental approaches, critically evaluate data and literature, and identify new research directions.
• Generate high-quality, reproducible data using molecular biology, cell biology, histology, imaging, and mouse techniques.
• Analyze datasets, prepare publication-quality figures, and write first-author manuscripts.
• Contribute to fellowship and grant applications and present research at meetings and conferences.
• Mentor staff and trainees, foster scientific rigor and reproducibility, support collaborations, and shape the lab's future direction.
