Description

Summary: The full-time Assistant Manager is responsible for the operation and supervision of a theatre and its employees, acting as a representative of Regal consistent with our mission and policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining regular attendance.
  • Upholding theatre policies.
  • Training, developing, coaching, and supervising staff.
  • Performing all staff positions as needed.
  • Operating projection and audio-visual equipment, including maintenance and system knowledge.
  • Ensuring alcohol certification and training are current if applicable.
  • Monitoring safety, loss prevention, and emergency procedures.
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Handling cash and payment reconciliation.
  • Adhering to dress code policies.
  • Completing management certification programs.
  • Understanding and reviewing the ROM.
  • Participating in hiring, scheduling, coaching, and disciplinary actions with oversight.
  • Controlling costs and managing inventory and supplies.
  • Supervising theatre maintenance and repairs.
  • Managing marketing, promotions, and scheduling of movies.
  • Reading and understanding training materials on topics like harassment and discrimination.

Qualifications

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, supervisory or theatre experience, and compliance with alcohol serving laws if applicable. Must have good communication, math, reasoning, computer skills, and the ability to supervise staff. Physical ability to perform job duties is necessary.
