POSITION SUMMARY:

To administer all forms of Respiratory Therapy, involve in consultations regarding therapy types, maintain equipment, enforce safety standards, and keep departmental records.

EDUCATION:

Associates Degree from an approved NBRC Program and successful completion of the NBRC entrance registry examination.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of one to two years of experience in all forms of Respiratory Therapy preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Registration by the NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Current CPR Certification
• ACLS Certification preferred
• Licensed in the State of New Jersey
• Effective group process skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Effective listening skills
• Attention to detail and adaptability to changing tasks
• Ability to function in stressful situations and adapt to changing patient needs
