POSITION SUMMARY:

To administer all forms of Respiratory Therapy, including consultations, equipment maintenance, safety enforcement, and record keeping.

EDUCATION:

Associates Degree from an approved NBRC Program and successful completion of the NBRC entrance registry examination.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of one to two years experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Registration by the NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Current CPR Certification
• ACLS Certification preferred
• Licensed in the State of New Jersey
• Effective group process, communication, and listening skills
• Attention to detail and ability to handle changing tasks efficiently
• Ability to work in stressful situations and adapt to changing patient needs
• Cooperative work with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Effective time management and analytical skills
