Sign on Bonus: $5,625.00

Schedule: Weekends nights 1900-0730 (Fri-Sun), 2 out of 3 weekends and holidays.

General Summary

Provides evaluation of and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients for appropriate treatment types and develops care plans based on diagnosis.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans and equipment, records patient conditions, and performs advanced respiratory care modalities.
• Evaluates respiratory practices, medication administration, and treatments based on patient outcomes.
• Educates patients and families about health conditions and available support programs.
• Responds to emergency resuscitation team codes.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced Life Support certification.
• BLS Provider certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.
• Respiratory Therapist Certification.
