Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver direct patient care across respiratory therapies in accordance with physician orders. You will collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, serving as an advanced resource for respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the NBRC.
• For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
• Physical demands include push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs; pinch up to 10 lbs; kneel, crouch, crawl.

Position Details:

• Qualifications Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Experience: None.
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
• Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
• Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
