Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time day shift. The role focuses on airway management, ventilation support, and patient transportation of incubated patients within an award-winning hospital.

Requires NYS Respiratory Therapist license, ACLS, and BCLS, with Bachelor’s degree and pediatric/infant experience preferred. On-site work is required; competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in transportation of incubated patients with emphasis on maintaining airways and providing ventilation and oxygenation.
• Assess modalities of respiratory therapy and recommend changes.
• Deliver respiratory care using appropriate equipment and ventilation strategies.
• Collaborate with care teams to shorten patient length of stay.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
