Job summary

Miami Valley Hospital's Respiratory Department is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care in the neonatal unit. You will perform assessments, therapies, evaluations, tests, and education across patient populations while coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure an excellent patient experience.

Ohio licensure as an RRT with NBRC credential is required, with BLS and ACLS to be obtained within 90 days; an Associate degree is required

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Associate degree in Respiratory Care.
• Area of study: Respiratory Care or NBRC approved.
• Ohio license as Respiratory Therapist with NBRC credential and BLS/ACLS within 90 days.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care.

The RRT is responsible for the respiratory assessment, therapeutic treatment, evaluation, testing, education, and communication for all patient populations served. The RRT will coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to promote a great patient experience.
