Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System seeks a professional RN for the Ultimate Float Team to provide high-quality nursing care in an acute clinical environment, guided by the hospital's nursing practice model and ANA standards.

The role requires an RN with a BSN (or in process), two years of experience, Basic Arrhythmia, ACLS within 6 months, NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days, and basic computer skills. Background screening is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program.
• Two years of relevant work experience.
• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS within six months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of hire.
• Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• - Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
• - Require two (2) years of relevant work experience.
• - Require successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within 90 days of employment.
• - Require Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six (6) months of hire.
• - Require National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale certification within thirty (30) days of hire.
• - Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• - Prefer certification in nursing specialty area.
