Job summary

A leading company in motor vehicle manufacturing is seeking a Refuse Diesel Mechanic for their Morgantown, PA service center. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy truck maintenance and repairs, including brake and electrical systems, and will enjoy a competitive pay and benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in the heavy truck industry.
• Preferred experience with CNG systems and ASE certifications.
• Must hold a valid CDL, Class B with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, repairing, and replacing air and hydraulic brake systems.
• Performing quality assessments of repairs.
• Working on cooling and electrical systems for refuse vehicles.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining, repairing, and replacing air and hydraulic brake systems
• Maintaining, repairing, and replacing coolant systems
• Maintaining, repairing, and replacing refuse electrical systems
• Maintaining, repairing, and replacing running gear
• Maintaining, repairing, and replacing body parts
• Maintaining, repairing, and replacing chassis parts
• Performing quality assessments of repairs

Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in the heavy truck industry
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Preferred experience with CNG systems, refuse vehicles, and ASE certifications
• Must hold a valid CDL, Class B with air brakes endorsement
