Job summary

VENU+ is seeking an Arcade Refurbishment Technician for on-site work in Orlando, FL. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, refurbish, and prepare amusement and souvenir coin equipment for installation at customer locations.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and prides themselves on restoring equipment to like-new condition. Responsibilities include electrical and mechanical repairs, cosmetic restoration, testing, and safe moving of equipment within the facility.

Qualifications

  • Trade school education or equivalent hands-on experience in electronics, electrical systems, mechanical systems, or a related technical field.
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and repair instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, repair, refurbish amusement and souvenir coin equipment.
  • Disassemble, rebuild, and reassemble machines, assemblies, and related components.
  • Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical repairs using established procedures and safety practices.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability and extend its service life.
  • Repair and restore equipment cabinets and components using basic carpentry, woodworking, painting, and refinishing techniques.
  • Identify damaged, defective, or worn components and coordinate replacement parts as needed.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and repair documentation.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and material-handling equipment.
  • Test and inspect completed equipment to verify functionality, safety, appearance, and performance before shipment or installation.
  • Document completed repairs, parts used, test results, and equipment condition as required.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, transporting, and positioning equipment within the facility.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, parts, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Arcade Refurbishment Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, refurbishing, and preparing amusement and souvenir coin equipment for installation at customer locations. This position works with a wide variety of equipment, including classic arcade games, modern interactive attractions, and souvenir coin press machines.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and takes pride in restoring equipment to like-new condition. Responsibilities include electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, cosmetic restoration, quality testing, and safely moving equipment throughout the facility. The Refurbishment Technician plays a critical role in ensuring every machine meets the company's standards for safety, appearance, reliability, and performance before deployment.

Key Responsibilities
