Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is seeking a detail-oriented specialist to research refund checks, out-of-balance entries and non-negotiated provider checks under supervision. This role requires understanding complex pricing, contract pricing and coordination of benefits.

The ideal candidate will have COB experience, strong math and analytical skills, and be able to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year COB experience in healthcare.
• Ability to determine health care reimbursement methodologies.
• Strong math, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational and time management with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Research refund checks, out-of-balance entries, and non-negotiated checks.
• Determine actions including offsetting, voiding or reissuing provider checks.
• Coordinate benefits and understand complex pricing and contract pricing.
