Job summary

Global Refuge seeks a Program Coordinator for the Refugee School Impact (RSI) and Youth Mentoring (YM) programs. You will lead implementation, promote civic and social engagement, and support educational and vocational advancement for ORR-eligible refugee and immigrant youth and families through mentorship and coordination with schools and community resources.

Reporting to the Client Services Supervisor, you will work to integrate newcomers into schools and communities, managing program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years in relevant community engagement roles.
• Knowledge of refugee resettlement systems or cross-cultural experience desired.
• Strong understanding of school systems and youth development practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, client-centered support to youth and families.
• Identify educational, social, and vocational needs through initial assessments.
• Develop individualized plans coordinating schools, services, and community resources.
• Collaborate with schools to support refugee students' progress and integration.
• Coordinate after-school, tutoring, and enrichment activities.
• Recruit, screen, and train mentors from similar cultural backgrounds.
• Maintain documentation and report outcomes for RSI and YM programs.
