Job summary

International Rescue Committee seeks an Early Employment Supervisor to lead Matching Grant and Refugee Social Services employment programs. You will supervise staff, manage client services, and ensure program performance and compliance while developing partnerships with employers and community organizations.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in related work, and strong English communications.

Qualifications

• University degree required, preferably in Social Work, Human Services, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years experience securing employment opportunities for clients, either in refugee resettlement, workforce development, or related social services.
• Experience supervising, supporting, and training staff.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills in English; proficiency in a language spoken by client populations is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal, insured vehicle; ability to travel regularly in the service area.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop direct service staff through supervision, coaching, and goal setting.
• Oversee program operations, track clients, and ensure timely, documented service delivery.
• Develop and maintain employer partnerships and community collaborations; expand curricula and life-skills workshops.
