Job summary

Dorcas International is seeking a Case Manager to provide wrap-around support for refugees, immigrants, students, and low-income clients at the on-site center in Providence, RI. You will coordinate services, maintain case plans, and help clients reach self-sufficiency while engaging with the community.

The role involves home visits, community locations, and flexible hours to maximize impact. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with navigating community social services and government services.
• Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills.
• Ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
• Ability to manage time and priorities effectively.

• Excellent organizational and documentation skills (records, files, schedules).
• Ability to communicate and work with diverse populations/cultures.

Responsibilities

• Provide wrap-around support for refugees, immigrants, students, youth, and low-income clients.
• Coordinate and facilitate access to services and review/update service plans.
• Support clients to achieve self-sufficiency and overcome obstacles.
• Occasionally conduct home visits or community outreach to maximize engagement.
• Assist in special projects related to client services (outreach, orientation, support groups).
