Job summary
Amerit Fleet Solutions in Corona, CA is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to service and repair reefer units on trailer fleets. This full-time role offers day shifts, competitive hourly pay, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.
You will diagnose Thermo King/Carrier reefer systems, perform preventive maintenance, complete DOT inspections, and document repairs. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the field, EPA 608 certification, and a valid driver's license.
Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on experience with reefer units and trailer refrigeration systems.
- EPA Section 608 Certification is required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to perform physical tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform timely repairs and maintenance on reefer units.
- Diagnose refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical issues on trailers.
- Complete preventive maintenance on A/C and refrigeration systems.
- Conduct DOT inspections and trailer repairs as needed.
- Accurately document repairs and update work orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members.
