Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a skilled technician to test refrigerated display cases, verify performance against specifications, and support equipment installation and maintenance. You will troubleshoot faults, analyze data, and ensure test facilities operate safely and efficiently in a production environment.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, EPA 608 certification, brazing proficiency, and the ability to read piping and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• EPA 608 Level 2 or Universal Certification required.
• Proficient in brazing.
• Able read piping and electrical schematics.
• Minimum 1 year of HVAC/refrigeration installation, service, or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and conduct prescribed performance testing on refrigerated display cases per standards.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration faults and interpret test data.
• Evaluate test data and recommend case changes to meet testing standards.
• Brazing copper to copper, brass, aluminum or other metals.
• Maintain test facility and equipment; perform preventive maintenance.
• Understand blueprints and schematics; maintain a clean and safe work area.
