Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a Refrigeration Technician 2 to join our Facilities Refrigeration team. You will perform general rack refrigeration maintenance and HVAC repairs in our retail stores, while mentoring Refrigeration Technician 1s.

Responsibilities include evaluating HVACR systems, maintaining parts inventory, and supporting special projects across stores, with potential overtime and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC or Refrigeration trade school completion or equivalent experience.
• At least three years refrigeration experience OR one year as Refrigeration Technician 1.
• Must be 20+ with valid driver's license and EPA Universal License.
• Basic knowledge of Word and Excel; EMS system familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair HVACR systems in the retail environment.
• Mentor Refrigeration Technician 1 in service techniques.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory and housekeeping.
• Support special refrigeration projects and corporate initiatives.
