Job summary

Dover Food Retail in the United States is seeking a Refrigeration Test Technician to assess performance of refrigerated display cases and ensure equipment meets specifications.

You will install and test refrigeration piping, brazing copper and other metals, read blueprints and schematics, and perform preventative maintenance in a production environment. OSHA-compliant cleanliness and safety are a must. Must have HS Diploma and EPA 608 Certification.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required with EPA 608 certification.
• Experience reading piping, electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Proficiency in brazing copper to copper/brass/aluminum.

Responsibilities

• Set up and conduct prescribed performance testing on refrigerated display cases.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration faults and evaluate test data.
• Maintain test facility and equipment, perform preventative maintenance.
• Install refrigeration piping and small condensing units; brazing involved.
• Read blueprints/schematics and ensure safety and cleanliness.
