Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a full-time refrigeration technician responsible for maintenance and repair of mechanical refrigeration systems across our facilities. The role includes interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings, performing PM tasks on RTUs and various cooling equipment, and maintaining safety standards in a health-care environment.

Qualifications

• 2 year Associate Degree in Refrigeration or 8-10 years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• 3-5 years of commercial refrigeration experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical refrigeration equipment including heat pumps, refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, window ACs, split system ACs, small reciprocating chillers.
• Proficient use of energy management system (EMS) to access and troubleshoot refrigeration equipment and override points.
• Perform PM tasks on RTU heat pumps, refrigerators, compressors, ice machines, water coolers, split systems, and freezers.
• Repair and maintenance including mechanical repairs, soldering, and use of hand tools; adhere to health and OSHA safety requirements.
