Job summary

Thermo King of Dallas is seeking a Refrigeration Technician Apprentice in Commerce City, CO. You will learn to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair transport refrigeration units and APUs, under supervision of senior technicians.

Training is structured in segments with milestone evaluations, including Thermo King Certification at year end. Must be organized, drive to learn, and possess basic electrical/mechanical understanding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; basic mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Must be able to read electrical and refrigeration schematics.
• Careful with safety rules and able to obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of refrigeration units.
• Develop practical skills through on-the-job training and classes.
• Follow health and safety codes and document work performed.
