Thermo King of Dallas is hiring Apprentice Refrigeration Technicians at 5170 East 58th Place, Commerce City, CO 80022. Apprentice Refrigeration technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Thermo King reefer units, auxiliary power units (APUs), and heating units.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on trailer, truck, Tripac, and Espar equipment.
• Replace or reinstall fuel filters, batteries, alternators, water pumps, starters, belts, and fuel pumps.
• Install new units and equipment.
• Solder parts and use asset library resources for manuals and guides.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of 4-cycle engines, Ohm’s Law, electricity, and DC voltage preferred.
• Ability to use various hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and read schematics.
• Must maintain Forklift Certification (training provided) and have a valid driver’s license.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of trade school or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must have or acquire necessary tools and maintain forklift license.

Performance and Physical Demands

• Work safely, maintain productivity, and perform oil changes efficiently.
• Ability to perform manual labor, lift up to 65 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
