Position Summary

Maintains store operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing gasoline and related equipment systems; refrigeration and HVAC systems; environmental monitoring systems; repairs food service equipment; performs preventive maintenance on equipment; performs general maintenance work in stores. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Essential Functions

1. Maintain fuel equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and maintaining gasoline dispensers and related equipment.
2. Provide preventive maintenance and testing of the fuel system(s).
3. Maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including preventive maintenance.
4. Perform repairs on equipment, doors, plumbing, flooring, painting, food service equipment, and other store items.
5. Maintain POS equipment, Frame Relay equipment, and safes through troubleshooting and repairs.
6. Work with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance of fueling equipment.
7. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following Circle K and OSHA procedures.
8. Coordinate repairs with outsourced vendors and facilitate procurement of materials and parts.
9. Document and communicate actions and needs within work teams.
10. Participate in training for new and existing equipment.
11. Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks.
12. Ensure a safe working environment for employees and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-5 years’ experience in maintenance and/or telecommunications preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Manual dexterity and ability to operate tools
• Valid driver’s license and insurability
• Availability for after-hours on-call
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands

• Ability to crouch, crawl, push, pull, bend, reach
• Climb ladders and lift up to 80 pounds
